Tea Rose Absolute Oil is a perennial flower shrub or vine of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae that contains over 100 species and comes in a variety of colors. The species form a group of erect shrubs, and climbing or trailing plants, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles.

THYME OIL
Thyme essential oil is extracted, by steam distillation, from the fresh or dried leaves and flowering tops of the plant. This is the Linalool chemotype, the most gentle variety of Thyme oils. The oil is mainly located in small glands on the leaves and contains thymol, paracymene linalool.

For over 100 years, Tube Rose Absolute Oil was one of the most expensive natural flower materials available to the perfumer, and was quite literally, worth its weight in gold. This was due to the excruciatingly slow and laborious method of obtaining tuberose oil known as ‘cold enfleurage’.
